A frameless shower screen is 10mm toughened safety glass, cut and drilled to your opening and fixed with hinges and brackets rather than a frame. Anderson Glass measures the actual opening — walls are never square — fabricates to those millimetres, and installs with the door swing and screen heights set before the glass is tempered.
What it involves
Shower screens fail at the measurements, not the glass. Out-of-square walls, a fall in the floor, a tile edge that sits proud — each one millimetres, and each one enough to make a pre-made screen leak or a door bind.
Typical scope
- Frameless 10mm screens and doors
- Semi-frameless and framed screens
- Pivot, hinged and sliding configurations
- Return panels and fixed panels
- Mirrors and bathroom splashbacks
- Replacement glass for existing screens

What the glass can be.
| Option | When it is used |
|---|---|
| Frameless 10mm | Toughened, polished edges, minimal hardware — the cleanest result. |
| Semi-frameless | A frame on the fixed panels, frameless door — a middle ground on cost. |
| Sliding | Where the door cannot swing out into the room. |
| Easy-clean coating | Applied to the glass face to slow mineral build-up. |
Typical make-ups
